As a dual student at SPECK Pumpen, I learn a lot of new things every day and am also allowed to carry out varied and exciting tasks myself and manage my first projects independently. I can put everything I learn in theory at university perfectly into practice. SPECK gives me the opportunity to expand my skills through my studies.<<

As a dual student, I am completing my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor of Engineering) at the Georg Simon Ohm University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg. At the same time, I started an apprenticeship as a technical product designer at SPECK in September. One of my various activities during my apprenticeship is working with CAD programs, which includes assembling several components into more complex assemblies. I also derive dimensional drawings from the designed 3D models, which in turn are made available to customers or later to fitters. I like the fact that I was allowed to take on responsibility in the department from day one and that solution-oriented work is encouraged. My colleagues are all very helpful and I can always approach them with suggestions, questions and requests. I look forward to continuing to work with them and to expanding my skills thanks to my studies so that I can continue to actively support SPECK in the future.<<
